It has been a while since my last update, and for that I apologize. However, I can make it up to you. What I have here is a HIGH quality rip of Necrovore's legendary Divus De Mortuus demo. This little piece of death metal history is not only remembered for its extreme historical significance, but also for its sheer relentless fury.
Everything about it just fucking rules. Pretty much every riff is memorable, as the way they weave abrassive chromaticity with heaviness and brutality is just stellar. Accompanying these excellent riffs is John DePlachett's maniacal vomit-soaked vocals, which at the time was easily one of the most ferocious vocal performances metal had ever seen. The drumming, done by Scott Staffney, is equally as vicious, and does a fine, albeit somewhat sloppy, job, and really beats the shit out of those skins.
So here it is, a damn nice high quality rip of the mighty Divus De Mortuus, converted directly from lossless to 320 kbps. It surpasses any other rip I've heard before, and definitely smears shit all over that Unreleased Evil bootleg that just came out.

Man - ... thanx A LOT for this fucking ripper!!! Searched quite some years for a better tape-rip than my own, which is a 37th generation dub, I suppose... Hahaha!! And it's really true, no one could ever reach that certain level of brutality like Necrovore did! The only one that came close were Profanatica in their early days, but well, they obviously were heavily inspired by Necrovore back then!
Does that " Unreleased evil" comp. cd really sound THAT bad?
Yeah it's pretty awful, you can tell these guys really didn't know a thing about sound quality. But hearing the re-recorded version of the demo is cool. Other then that it's pretty worthless.
I just downloaded the Unreleased Evil from Classic Extreme Metal and it is fucking HORRIBLE sounding compared to this one. Thanks for upping a vastly superior version. Too bad there isn't a good version of the 2nd demo. It sounds to be as out-of-control as the first one. The cassette they got it from sounds terrible though. The live stuff is fucking useless.
Agreed, it's a total waste of money. But I took the tracks from the 2nd demo off the CD and tried spicing them up in Adobe Audition with EQs and noise reduction and stuff, and I did a decent job considering how fucking awful the disc sounds. Here's the link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MJ1RQ6EQ
May be a day late & a dollar short, but wouyld it still be possible to get the downloaders fixed for the NECROVORE demo??? HAILS
Yeah! I'd like to see a re-upload of the demo! I've only got some shitty bootleg versions. If you have anything besides the demo, please upload it. Always want to hear something from these guys
